Water

Step 1: Clean The Excess Liquid

Remove the excess liquid on the upholstery using a clean white cloth or a towel. It is very important to have a “white” colored cloth or a towel, as dyed fabrics may leave color behind and cause additional staining.  

Step 2: Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse the coffee stains using cold water. Use a clean cloth and dab the stains, soon you will notice that coffee stain is going.

Step 3: Use Liquid Detergents or Dry Cleaning Agents

Make sure you avoid bleach liquid detergents on your couch. You can make your own cleaning solution. To make your own solution, you need liquid dish soap, vinegar, and warm water. Then sprinkle it over the stain. Allow it to settle for up to 10 minutes, and clean it using a clean cloth. If in case your couch cushions also have coffee stains, then you need to insert the cushion into the warm water and soak for at least 30 minutes.
